Just got it in the mailbox ! I have already installed the D ring and gorilla glued the Royce balance pipe. I preferred this lightsaber because of its uniqueness. Uniqueness is the word I would use to describe this product. The prop was well worth the wait. And it is heavier than I thought, about 11 pounds ! I chose this one because all the parts are historical, and it is the one Alec used in the first Star Wars movie. I like to pretend that all the weathering came not only from obiwan’s 19 years of exile, but also from all his fights during the clone wars. Every detail is spot on and the product is 99% screen accurate. Every single component in this Static Kit was created with actual in-hand authentic parts as reference. No detail was overlooked. No compromises were made. Owning this kit is the closest you can get to screen accurate ! Each one Roman makes is different in the weathering, each part is specially weathered meaning that each one he sells is different from the rest. I had no issue with the product and the seller provided great customer service. The lightsaber hilt came wrapped in bubble wrap, which in turn was sealed in a watertight package, and then was wrapped in extra protective padding which was also fit snug into a sealed box. This product is neat and represents the lightsaber of the saresu Jedi master who fought Darth Maul, general Grevious, count Dooku, and Darth Vader many times.

This product is amazing, the craftsmanship that goes into every inch of this thing is evident the minute you pull it out of its box. I can’t bring myself to put it in my display case. I keep carrying it around with me from room to room… wife is starting to think I’m crazy.

I e-mailed Roman several times with many questions. He answered them quickly, in great detail and was incredibly patient. Once ordered, it arrived amazingly fast! Maybe 3-4 days. It probably would have been sooner if I didn’t order on a weekend and have a final communication with Roman who upgraded my pommel!
This prop is absolutely amazing! I’m big on sturdy and man this is sturdy! It looks great and comes fully assembled except for the buttons and belt ring which are super easy to install. Takes minutes.
This is my fourth hilt from Roman and more will be purchased in the future. I’d do it now, but, you know Christmas.

Splurged on a roman props hilt because I had always wanted a movie accurate obi hilt, I was expecting a lot considering the price and I have to say I am totally blown away by how beautiful this hilt is. I’ll start off by saying the shipping was super quick with FedEx; only took 3 days shipping INTERNATIONALLY, very impressed! My expectations were once again blown out of the water by Roman Props.
